Jesse James Dzik was born September 4, 1948 in Nipawin, SK to Stanley and Mary Dzik. Jesse grew up on the family farm near Aylsham and attended school at Zenon Park.
Jesse worked for Manitoba Hydro, clearing trees for the flooding of the dam and drove truck, hauling freight between Lynn Lake, Leaf Rapids and Thompson, Manitoba during the winters. In the spring he would return home to farm with his Dad. Jesse operated hotels in Buffalo Narrows and Melville, worked on the Francois Finlay Hydroelectric Dam and drove cab in Nipawin. He continued to farm with his dad until his retirement.
Jesse enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and snowmobiling. He liked to watch curling and football.
Jesse was a kind caring person and this was most evident with how he cared for his mother.
Jesse was predeceased by his dad Stan, uncles Eddy and Johnny, aunt Blanche, niece Ashley and great nephew Treyden.
He is survived by his mom Mary, siblings, Roger (Liz), Alvin (Laureen), Helen (Andy) and Linda (Gord) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
