Tanya was born in Zenon Park on December 19th, 1958 to Thomas and Helen (Burns) Pearse. She was the second of their five children. Tanya and her siblings; David, Liza, Darcy, and Cindy were raised on their family farm in the Silver Stream area.
Tanya attended high school in Tisdale after which she moved away and had her three children; Troy, Lindy, and Casey.
Shortly after Casey was born, Tanya decided it was time to move back and raise her children near her family. By October of 1988, Tanya settled in Nipawin which became her home for the next 30 years.
Not too long after moving to Nipawin, Tanya found employment with the Pineland Co-op where she worked for over 20 years. During her time in Nipawin she met many of her dearest friends and her loving and long-time partner, Rod Scheidt and his two children; Robin and Tiffany.
Rod and Tanya spent much of their time exploring the countryside, going to yard sales, and hunting for antiques. Tanya also enjoyed puzzles, reading, and spending time with her loved ones. She instilled her love of animals in all three of her children as the whole family have rescued many critters over the years.
Tanya lost her battle with cancer on August 27th, 2018. She is survived by her parents Thomas and Helen Pearse, her children Troy (Marianne),
Lindy (Carling), Casey (Chris), her brother David, and three sisters Liza, Darcy, and Cindy (Michael) and their families.
Tanya was an intelligent, loving, strong-willed, and kind-hearted woman who will be deeply missed, but her memory is with us and will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
