Nancy Marie Watts was born April 5, 1956 as the first child of Bill & Marie Spuzak in Fort Frances Ontario. She would become the eldest of 3 siblings for her brother Rick and sister Kathy. She graduated from Fort Frances High School in 1974. After high school she moved to Lloydminster, Alberta where she met her future husband Randy Watts. On December 4, 1981 she and Randy were married, then in the fall of 1984 they moved to Carrot River, Saskatchewan. Their son Billy/ Will Watts was born July 24, 1986. In the fall of 1993 Nancy’s husband Randy was diagnosed with cancer and on February 24, 1994 passed away. Her only son Will, grew up and graduated Carrot River High School in June of 2005 then moved to Alberta for work. Nancy remained in Carrot River and became an active member in the United Church. In January 2021 she was diagnosed with lung cancer and on July 7, 2021 she peacefully passed away with family by her side.
Nancy always had a coffee pot on and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. She could always be found deep in a book with no shortage of smiles. Nancy enjoyed her time in her garden and at Church. She always made time for family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her son Will, his wife Ana and their four children: Samara Watts, Arikos Watts, Savannah Watts, and Alena Watts.
