Marianne Martha Fehr (Bernhard) was born in Leroy, Saskatchewan on
April 27, 1933. She entered Heaven’s gates on May 18, 2020 at the age
Marianne Fehr was the 8th child (the middle child) of Leonard and Margaret Bernhard. She moved to the Carrot River district with her family in 1945. She attended Blue Jay school and was later sent to the Tisdale hospital to be guided by the Nuns there. She then came back to work at various jobs until she meet her best friend Abraham I Fehr who she married May 10, 1951 and became house wife and mother.
In 1968 Marianne and Abe purchased their own business, Sunset Service at the six mile corner, where they worked together with the family serving the public for almost thirty years. She always had coffee, soup and conversation for all who came.
Over the years they took in and loved many people who needed shelter or a hug.
In 2001 she moved into Carrot River where she remained active in the church and still had coffee and food for any that would stop by.
In 2013 with her health failing Marianne moved into the Arborfield Care Center, then to the Carrot River Heath Center where she was happy and graciously cared for by the staff there, until the end of her days.
She is survived by her son Dick Fehr wife Betty their children Rick(Nancy) their children Chloe, Mathieu, Curtis(Andree) their children David and Sarah, daughter in law Deb Fehr her children Angie (Dean) Vineyard their son Devin (Angie), Greg, Tara and her daughter Taylor and Layla, Muriel and her children Brian (Chelene) Fehr their children Blake and Quinn, Brad(Shandel) Fehr their children Nevaeh and Ella, Chris Fehr, Danny Fehr, daughter Connie (Milton) Wood their children Nicholas (Megan) Wood, Brandi (Dallen) McTavish their children Sven and Vladymir. Siblings remaining are Carol, Leona, Dorothy, Elsie, Josephine, Joe, Evelyn and Lorraine.
She is predeceased by her love Abe, son John, Brothers Frank, Bert, Ben, Sisters Susie, Rosalyn, Julie, numerous nieces and nephews.
