Gabriel McLeod was born in Saskatoon on May 9, 1984. Gabriel passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
Gabriel was known by everyone as Shem or other family members as Handsome. Gabriel was very close to his parents and sibling. He loved his nieces and nephews very much. Gabriel always made a great effort to be the best uncle he could be. You would always see Gabriel with his parents walking to Cumberland where he and his dad would go make their usual Sportselect bets. During the evening he would play 10X with his family.
Gabriel was well known by everyone. He was very well liked. Gabriel was a respectful and kind, young man. He always told his family he loved them. When he would meet up with his cousins he always gave them a hug.
Gabriel called himself the “Toughest” when he was young. He would flex his muscles to show off how big they were. Growing up he liked wrestling with his younger siblings.
Gabriel was a sports fan; his NHL team was Ottawa Senators and NFL team was New England Patriots.
Gabriel is survived by his parents Frank & Jenny Budd;
sister Charleen (Denzel, Corey, Chaz, Nick & Jacob) Budd;
brothers, Ryan (Rylan, Mavis, Elissa, Rose, Vernon & Gavin) Budd and Robert Budd; nieces, Meagan and Shayna Budd; Granny Louisa Buck; uncles, John (Audrey) Budd, Raymond (Joyce) Budd, Calvin (Lisa) Budd, Stan Budd, Barry (Elaine) McLeod, Laurent (Karen) McLeod and Jeffery McLeod; aunties, Marilyn (Dennis) Pelly, Della McLeod,Elsie McLeod, Lenor (Bert) Chaboyer and numerous cousins and extended family.
Gabriel is predeceased by his sisters, Rose and Mavis Budd; grandparents, Robert & Marie Budd, Frank & Helen McLeod, Frank Budd, Ann Dorion, and Jessie Whitehead; Aunties, Jessie Budd, Judy McLeod, Noella Crate and Virginia Cook; uncles, Raymond McLeod, Victor McLeod Steven and Daniel McLeod and Victor Crate; cousins, Lauren Budd, Danny McLeod and Serena Roberts.
