Richard “Ricky” Wallace was born on January 14, 1980 to Velma and Clifford Wallace in Kinistino, SK.
Ricky came to live with Johnny and Lynda Friesen on June 26, 1989. He attended school in White Fox, SK and later L.P. Miller School in Nipawin. At 22 years of age Ricky went to work at Handi Works in Nipawin. He always did the sweeping and would let everyone know the weather. Before a meal, Ricky was happy to say grace when asked to. He enjoyed hockey and church and loved to sing. Two of his favourite programs to watch on TV were Tribal Trails and The Price Is Right.
Ricky moved to Cal and Kendra Friesen’s home and lived there for eight years. On February 28, 2018, he returned back to live with Lynda Friesen and his brother Jason. Ricky loved it there and was very happy to be back. He liked to go camping at the lake and go for side by side rides.
Ricky was predeceased by his dad Clifford, Grandma and Grandpa Erickson, aunts and uncles and foster dad Johnny Friesen in 2014.
Left to mourn his passing are his mom Velma Wallace, brother Jason, cousins Mathew and Macy, Aunty Vera, Aunty Margret & Uncle Don and Aunty Ema, his foster mom Lynda and his best friend Cal Friesen. Ricky will be missed.
Rest in Peace Ricky. We love you.
