Pearl May Deault
November 11, 1949 – October 10, 2021
The family of Pearl May Deault is sad to announce her passing on October 10, 2021 at the age of 71 years.
Pearl was born November 11, 1949 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan and passed away on October 10, 2021 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Pearl is survived by her sons Terry and Clinton, step-son Derek Allen, grandson Logan, and twin great granddaughters, Casi and Cara, brothers Ellery (Sandra) Fehr, Ken Fehr, Don (Joanne) Fehr, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom married Paul Deault March 19, 1983. Mom travelled with Dad to many job sites, hauling logs and gravel. Dad would drive the semi to the jobsites and Mom would pull the 5th wheel with the three pets. Mom would often drive the packer or work as a flagger, living in the camper for the summer months. They enjoyed travelling together to Mexico and the USA (Yuma for the past 8 years), with their two dogs and a cat, living in the desert alongside a handful of other campers where they were close enough to walk across the border to Mexico. Mom had family and many friends who loved her. She made friends wherever she went, from British Columbia to Yuma, who would call her to see if she would be there to spend the winter.
After retiring from construction, Mom enjoyed working hard as a picker. She picked mushrooms and blueberries, as well as collecting scrap metal which she sold for a profit. Mom could often be seen at local craft shows selling her fleece blankets and her garden vegetables at the local farmers market.
Pearl was close to her two boys, Terry and Clinton. They will miss the hour long phone calls with her. May they find comfort knowing that she is back at the places she loved, the ocean or the desert, with her sweetheart Paul.
